Octave the parakeet (2013)


The very first sculptures that started my business!

Octave’s parents were both opera singers, and they wanted him to follow in his footsteps. Octave however wants to become an entomologist, even though he spends more time eating the insects than studying them…

Made from needle-felted wool, the body of these toys alone took around 10 hours to make. The face was hand sculpted from polymer clay, then hand painted with care.
