Léopoldine the shrew (2013)

The very first sculptures that started my business!

Léopoldine tends to fall asleep during the day randomly, and doesn’t remember where she is when she wakes up.

She’s the only one that can stand on her own thanks to her posable tail.
Disclaimer: this piece is discounted because the face was made from air dry clay and suffered damage over the years. I repaired her carefully and she now looks like new, but I unfortunately cannot guarantee there will not be further damage over the years. She’s my personal favourite though!

Made from needle-felted wool, the body of these toys alone took around 10 hours to make. The face was hand sculpted, then hand painted with care.
